KMCC Committes

KMCC Church has several committees that assist and run the church activies, services and events.  If you are interested as a church member in being a part of one of these committees please contact the committee lead.

Session

Session is the elected council of ruling elders and pastors responsible for the spiritual leadership, membership, and daily operations of an individual local congregation.

All Session members are available for questions or concerns.  Please reach out to anyone of them.

Worship and Music Committee

Ministry Committee is responsible for nurturing fellowship, coordinating small groups, and overseeing ministries that support members from childhood through adulthood.  

This committee is responsible for finding Substitute Pastors when needed, 

Developing the Worship service programs and assisting with other committees as needed.

Deacons

Deacons serve as the "hands and feet of Christ" within the congregation, focusing on caring for the sick, the elderly, those in distress, and managing physical needs.

  • Congregational Care: Visiting the home bound, delivering meals to recovering members, and providing prayer support.

  • Hospitality: Welcoming attendees on Sunday mornings and organizing fellowship events or funeral receptions.

Church Life

Church Life vital program committee responsible for nurturing the social and spiritual bonds of the church family. These committees plan social events, coordinate hospitality, and support small fellowship groups to foster a welcoming, interconnected community.

Church Life is responsible for the following events as well as other activities:

Ministry Committee oversee annual financial campaigns, endowment funds, and values-based investing while educating members on the theological importance of sharing their time, talent, and treasure

Building and Grounds Committee

Ministry Committee oversee responsible for maintaining the church’s physical assets, including indoor/outdoor repairs, capital improvements, and landscaping.
